Brooklyn Beckham’s billionaire father-in-law has finally broken his silence on the Beckham’s family feud.
Nicola Peltz’s father, Nelson Peltz, 83, addressed the Beckham rift while appearing at a Q&A session at the Wall Street Journal’s Invest Live summit in Florida on Tuesday, February 3 —weeks after Brooklyn accused his parents of trying to interfere in his marriage.
Speaking to crowds in West Palm Beach, the business magnate took the opportunity to praise his son-in-law, Brooklyn, 26, describing him as “great”.
In full, Nelson said: “My daughter and the Beckhams are a whole other story and that’s not for coverage here today. But I’ll tell you my daughter is great, my son-in-law Brooklyn is great and I look forward to them having a long, happy marriage together.”
The father-of-10, who was born in New York City, was also asked whether he gives the couple advice on navigating difficult situations.
He replied: “I do. Sometimes they give me advice.”
His comments come after Brooklyn took to Instagram late last month to publicly declare he does not want to reconcile with his parents, Victoria, 51, and Sir David, 50. He accused them of intentionally trying to break up his relationship with his wife Nicola, 31.
