Biden To Meet Vladimir Putin To End Russia War: If there is interest in Russian President Vladimir Putin determining that he wants to find a solution to stop the war, US Vice President Joe Biden has stated that he would be willing to meet with him.
He highlighted to reporters that Mr. Putin had not yet done that while speaking with French President Emmanuel Macron. The two men emphasized that they will keep opposing Russia’s war.
The Kremlin responded by stating that President Putin was still open to discussions intended to “secure our interests.” However, Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman, told reporters that Moscow was undoubtedly not prepared to meet US demands. “What actually was said by President Biden? He claimed that only once Putin has left Ukraine are conversations feasible.”
He stated that the US’s refusal to acknowledge the “new territory” in Ukraine that Russia had illegally annexed at the end of September hindered efforts to find a shared ground for negotiations.
President Macron was adamant that he and Mr. Biden would never pressurize the Ukrainians to reach a settlement “that would not be acceptable to them,” and he made this clear.
The time had come to work for decent peace for Ukraine, according to Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, but it had to happen via Kyiv’s independence rather than its surrender. He told the newspaper La Repubblica, “The Kremlin must now send tangible messages rather than attacking the populace.
Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby visit to Ukraine
While visiting Ukraine, Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, stated that peace could not exist until Russia stopped lying about its activities there.

The US and French presidents promised “continued support for Ukraine’s defense of its sovereignty and territorial integrity” in a joint statement following their talks at the White House. They also committed to speeding up the delivery of air defense systems. And announcing plans for an international conference on Ukraine to be held in Paris on December 13th.
President Biden’s declaration that he was willing to speak with the Russian president was accompanied by a strong qualification. He added that the French would never pressure the Ukrainians to reach a settlement that they would not find agreeable.
After Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov protested that no meaningful offers of mediation had been made by European nations up to that point, President Macron spoke a few hours later. Adding that Russia had not received any signals through diplomatic channels, he was cited as saying.
