A lady from Tennessee Bethany Wilson charged with Carjacking, one of which she used her 5-year-old child as a shield.
According to Clarksville Police, Bethany Wilson, 24, is facing multiple charges of aggravated robbery.
The first occurrence occurred around 4:40 p.m. According to authorities, the incident occurred Thursday afternoon at a Minit Mart, where a 51-year-old lady stated that a woman with a gun took her Nissan Juke while she was pumping petrol.
Officers arrived to the shots fired call a little more than 30 minutes later. A man there said that a lady had stolen his Mercedes Benz. During the carjacking, he claims she fired a shot and used a child as a shield. According to Clarksville Police spokesman Scott Beaubien, the Nissan Juke was found in a nearby parking lot.
The Mercedes was eventually discovered in neighboring Cheatham County by investigators. The Tennessee Highway Patrol then informed detectives that the woman had stolen a Ford F-150 pickup truck, which had crashed on Interstate 24.
They ultimately apprehended Wilson late Thursday night at a Days Inn.
According to police, the youngster was with her at the hotel and is safe.
Wilson is being held at the Montgomery County Jail on a $200,000 bond, according to jail records.
