
Air Peace has confirmed that one of its flights, P47190, operating from Lagos to Port Harcourt, veered off the runway after landing safely at the Port Harcourt International Airport on Saturday morning.
According to the airline, the aircraft “slightly veered off” the runway but recorded no damage. Thankfully, all passengers disembarked safely and without panic, and no injuries were reported.
In an official statement signed by the airline’s spokesperson, Osifo-Whiskey Efe, Air Peace reassured the public of its continued commitment to safety and operational excellence.
“We reassure the flying public of our unflinching commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety in all our operations,” the statement read.
The incident, which occurred on July 13, 2025, has not yet been linked to any technical fault or weather-related issue as of press time.
