Former tennis star Anna Kournikova is reportedly expecting her fourth child with husband Enrique Iglesias, according to Spanish publication Hola.
The 44-year-old, who retired from professional tennis more than two decades ago, is said to be halfway through her pregnancy, with sources close to the couple confirming that “things are progressing well.”
The news comes just months after Kournikova was photographed in a wheelchair, wearing an orthopaedic boot during a family outing, which had raised concerns about her health.

Kournikova and Iglesias, who have been together for more than 20 years, are already parents to three children — twins Lucy and Nicholas, aged seven, and their youngest daughter Mary, who is five. The couple are famously private about their family life, rarely making public appearances or speaking about their children.
Once one of the most recognisable faces in tennis, Kournikova reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon in 1997 at just 16 years old and climbed to a career-high singles ranking of No. 8 in the world. Though she never claimed a Grand Slam singles title, she achieved significant success in doubles, winning the Australian Open in 1999 and 2002 alongside Martina Hingis.

Her career, however, was cut short by recurring injuries, including a left foot stress fracture, abductor muscle issues and persistent back problems. These forced her into early retirement in 2003 at the age of 21, after just eight years on the professional circuit. She left the sport with 16 doubles titles, having also reached the finals of the French Open in doubles and both Wimbledon and US Open mixed doubles.
Off the court, Kournikova transitioned into modelling and became a global celebrity, earning attention for her image as much as her athletic career. She was voted the world’s sexiest woman in 2002, beating the likes of Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez, and in 2010 was named the sexiest tennis player of all time. The constant scrutiny, alongside her injuries, contributed to her decision to step away from professional tennis.

Now largely living away from the spotlight, Kournikova and Iglesias reside in Miami with their children. Reports of her pregnancy mark a new chapter for the couple, who continue to balance family life with Iglesias’ global music career and Kournikova’s preference for privacy.
