In a viral post, he recounted being stuck in traffic for four hours, describing the experience as traumatic.

He videoed the scene where he had been stuck for hours with other cars, lamenting over the delay.

He characterized Lagos as a life-reducing state, suggesting that the stress associated with living in the city can take a toll on residents’ mental health.

His words …

“I was in traffic for four hours. I was traumatized. Lagos is a life-reducing state. If you are meant to live 100 years, Lagos will reduce it to 60. Lagos will take 40. I’m traumatized; my mental health is at stake”

Netizens’ reactions …

@dreams200100 stated: “Four hours in Lagos traffic isn’t a delay it’s a full spiritual retreat you never signed up for 😭.By the time you get home, you’re older, wiser, and already used up 10 of the 40 years Lagos just deducted from your life”

@ShadowPulse202 wrote: “Bro na so we dey run am for Lagos ooo anybody wey Lagos tire make hin move out.”

@stay_richy said: “They like to cry and complain every time but they still won’t leave”

@Chroniclesavy remarked: “I think the federal govt should begin an intentional urbanisation project across several states with the hope of decongesting Lagos. Because if we keep waiting for state governors, it will only get worse. People move to Lagos because of opportunities they cannot get anywhere else.”
