Although DDG didn’t disclose the circumstances surrounding his intention, he expressed excitement over his intention to relocate to Nigeria.

I’m so tired of living in LA. I can’t wait til i move to Lagos Nigeria“, The tweet reads.

This isn’t the first time DDG has expressed his desire to leave America.

In January 2025, he hinted at relocating to  London or Lagos due to his growing dissatisfaction with life in the United States.

Reactions Trailing DDG’s Tweet

Zaddy remarked, “Keep using Lagos to chase clout, you know what you’re doing“.

Dave Crypt said, “Make we swap you come to Lagos. You give me money to go to LA how you see am?😂”.

The dispute between DDG and his ex-girlfriend, Halle Bailey, stemmed from allegations of physical and emotional abuse made by Bailey.

Bailey claimed that DDG was violent and abusive throughout their relationship, which resulted in a temporary restraining order being granted against him.

Halle Bailey seems to have moved on from her previous relationship with DDG, as she was recently spotted with a mystery man.

The duo were seen enjoying a romantic getaway in Italy on a yacht.

Meanwhile, Bailey’s representatives haven’t publicly commented on the relationship, but fans are speculating about a potential new romance.
