Nigerian TikToker, Olaoluwa Segun, known as Olas, shares an harrowing account of his experience in Yaba Panti cell.
It would be recalled that the TikToker made headlines in July 2025 after falsely alleging Dayo Amusa was among Nigerian celebrities living with HIV.
Dayo Amusa Breaks Silence On HIV Status
However, Dayo Amusa refuted Olas’ claim, revealing she had shared her HIV-negative status on social media in 2019 to raise awareness about HIV testing and education.
In a surprising turn , the mother of one threatened legal action against the TikToker, vowing to make him a scapegoat to serve as a warning to others.
TikToker Recounts Experience In Yaba Panti Cell
TikToker Olas revealed he spent two days in detention over his comment about Dayo Amusa’s HIV status.
In a video posted to his TikTok account, he described the harsh conditions in the cell, which had 60 inmates.
Fortunately, one of the cell leaders recognized him from TikTok and offered him protection, assigning him a bunk.
Olas shared details about how new inmates were treated upon arrival.
He expressed gratitude to Dayo Amusa for forgiving him, stating, “I want to thank Aunty Dayo Amusa for forgiving me. If not that she changed her mind, I would have been there for a long time”.
