Reality TV star and entrepreneur, Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha has set a new benchmark in the beauty world, completing 145 makeovers in just 24 hours during her Guinness World Record attempt in Lagos.
The record-breaking challenge took place at the John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture & History, beginning on Saturday and concluding at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Despite facing a brief power outage, Tacha powered through the marathon, transforming both male and female models with impressive speed and accuracy.
The model lineup featured influencers like Mitchy, Venita Akpofure, Wanni, and Handi, showcasing Tacha’s versatility across different skin tones and body types.
Each makeover was professionally documented through headshots and runway showcases, forming part of the Tacha Beauty Festival and serving as evidence for Guinness World Records.
The event attracted a star-studded crowd, including Toke Makinwa, Dabota Lawson, Soma Anyama, Slimcase, Ice Prince, Alex Unusual, Egungun of Lagos, and Idris Aregbe, Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Tourism.
Fans and celebrities have taken to social media to celebrate her feat, applauding her creativity, stamina, and dedication.
Tacha, who rose to fame during Big Brother Naija Season 4, now awaits official confirmation from Guinness World Records after submitting full documentation of her achievement.
