Renowned actor and broadcaster Patrick Doyle and his wife have been thrown into mourning following the loss of their newborn baby.
The heartbreaking incident comes just hours after the actor had joyfully announced the arrival of their baby girl, revealing that both mother and child were doing well.
In a painful update shared on his social media page, Patrick disclosed that their daughter passed away shortly after her birth, leaving the family devastated.
“Omayinuwa visited us briefly at about 10:40 a.m. on Friday, April 10, and returned to heaven on Saturday, April 11, at about 4:15 p.m.
Her stay was short, but it brought great joy. We would have wished for a longer stay, but alas, heaven thought otherwise… God still rules in the affairs of men. It is well with our soul.”
Despite the tragic loss, he expressed unwavering faith, noting that while her stay was short, it brought immense joy to their lives.
The sad news has left many Nigerians emotional, as fans and colleagues continue to send prayers and condolences to the grieving family.
