Rumours had circulated that the “Maradona” hitmaker’s reduced public appearances were due to a quiet marriage.

However, during a recent interview with Yanga FM Lagos, Niniola dismissed the reports, clarifying that she is not married.
The singer explained that her absence from the limelight was not related to any marital commitment, contrary to what many fans believed.
She also addressed speculation that she was hiding a supposed marriage to protect her music career or avoid losing performance bookings, stressing that there was no truth to such claims.
Niniola reaffirmed that she remains focused on her music and upcoming projects, assuring fans that she will be returning to the stage soon.

“I don’t care whatever anyone does or says [regarding my personal life]. After all, I’m not a 12-year-old. I’m old enough to say whatever it is I want to say with my full chest. I’m not married.”
Niniola speaks on collaborating with sister, Teni
Speaking on why she has not yet collaborated with her younger sister, singer Teni, Niniola explained that their joint project will happen only when the timing and circumstances are right.
She noted that while many fans have been anticipating a collaboration between the Apata sisters, music remains a business venture that requires proper planning and alignment.
The “Designer” crooner added that there is no room for sentiment in the music industry, stressing that business decisions should not be influenced by family ties.
Niniola maintained that when the time is right, both she and Teni will deliver a collaboration that meets the expectations of their fans.
