“Never post your joy online”

Controversial cross-dresser, Bobrisky, has shared a candid lesson about relationship, happiness, and social media, revealing what he describes as hard-earn truth from his life experiences.

Taking to his Instagram, he reflected on the pitfalls of exposing private happiness to public scrutiny. He wrote:

“One thing I learnt the hard way as an ex-Nigerian is never to bring what makes me happy on social media.”

He explained that flaunting wealth, love, or happiness online often attracts envy, judgment, and interference, especially in Nigeria, where people are dealing with their own struggles.

Bobrisky emphasised that some joys are meant to be private and sharing them publicly can put relationships and peace of mind at risk.

“Let the relationship be between you and him only. Nigerians will make sure it scatters and laugh at you if they see your happiness,” he added.

He further advised that relationship should be between two partners, shielding it from unnecessary scrutiny and interference.

Bobrisky’s reference to himself as an “ex-Nigerian” highlights his perspective on societal pressures and cultural envy, suggesting that he has distanced himself from toxic behaviors he associates with social expectations in Nigeria.
