Lawrence explained that the large crowd size and excitement for the movie were the reasons behind his actions at the premiere, where he appeared unsteady while walking with Smith.
“I was like, ‘Oh, this is rock concert stuff.’ What the hell is going on? [This is] for a movie?”
Throughout his career, Lawrence has faced several health scares. In 1996, he was hospitalized due to exhaustion and dehydration after running into an LA intersection.
In 1999, he was put into a three-day coma due to severe heat exhaustion while on a run. Despite these past incidents, Lawrence continues to star alongside Will Smith in the fourth installment of their popular action-comedy film series, Bad Boys: Ride or Die.
Despite the health concerns, Lawrence’s upcoming plans remain unchanged. “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” is set to hit theaters this week, and he is still planning on his “Y’all Know What It Is!” tour, which kicks off in July.
The tour lineup includes DC Young Fly, Jess Hilarious, and Rickey Smiley, among others, and is scheduled to last through 2025.
