“Marriage isn’t for me, I don’t recommend it” — Offset

American rapper Kiari Kendrell Cephus, popularly known as Offset, has opened up on why his marriage to Cardi B came to an end, admitting that marriage is no longer part of his life plans.

Speaking on the Full Send Podcast with Kyle Forgeard, the former Migos rapper revealed that he views his marriage with Cardi B as a completed chapter of his life. According to him, he has no intention of ever walking down the aisle again.

“Marriage isn’t for me. I’ve been through it, I’ve had three kids from it, and it feels like a mission I’ve already completed. I’ve lived that experience,” Offset explained.

When asked if he would recommend marriage to anyone, he bluntly responded, “No! Don’t get married. Unless you are cool about changing your life entirely.”

His comments come amid ongoing legal issues with his estranged wife. Cardi B filed for divorce in August 2024, citing irreconcilable differences. However, as of January 2025, the rapper confirmed that Offset had yet to sign the divorce papers, leaving the case unresolved.

The high-profile couple, who tied the knot in 2017, share two children and have had a rocky relationship marked by breakups, reconciliations, and public controversies.
