Singer Iyanya shuts down reports alleging that the talent manager, Ubi Franklin supposedly stole a watch from a popular luxury jeweler.
Reports had surfaced on social media opining that Ubi Franklin had withheld the watch after disguising to buy it Benny the Jeweler.
When he was asked about it, he allegedly said that he had returned the watch to Benny.
Benny however insisted that the watch was nowhere to be found, reportedly threatening to involve the police and immigration before Ubi Franklin allegedly claimed to have seen the watch in his pocket, without any idea how it got there.

“UBI FRANKLIN reportedly STOLE A WATCH FROM BENNY THE JEWELER!! they kept asking him he said he had no idea about it. Cutie isn’t lying about that gist. He reportedly asked to buy a watch from Benny. When he was asked about the watch bro said he had given it to Benny’s assistant. They couldn’t find the watch anywhere and he kept insisting he had to no idea where it was Benny threatened to involve police and immigration,all of a sudden bro said he found it in his pocket and he didn’t know how it got there. Now they are doing damage control cause someone already informed Cutie about it and cutie has been posting. However, Iyanya debunked this, shutting it down as falsehood while adding that the whole thing were being said by those wanting to taint Ubi Franklin’s image.

“This is a Big lie.
The jeweler has come out to deny this, it was a gist fabricated to tarnish Ubi’s name by those who don’t like him with that circle.
I will not let my brother be dragged for nothing.”
