Drama as Pastor Chris Okafor withdraws apology to Nollywood actress, Doris Ogala, revealing circumstances that led to the apology.
It would be recalled that the clergyman apologized to Doris Ogala in December 2025, while on his knees during a sermon.
Chris Okafor Withdraws Apology
During a church sermon, the clergyman disclosed that he is innocent of the allegations made against him by Doris Ogala.
According to him, he tendered an apology to the actress to protect the spiritual leaders who stood by him amid the controversy.
”I withdraw that, there was no single apology because I cannot apologize for what I don’t know”, He firmly stated.
Background Of Chris Okafor’s Controversy With Doris Ogala
The drama began when Ogala accused Okafor of breaking a promise to marry her, sharing explicit content, and causing emotional distress.
Meanwhile, Doris Ogala filed a lawsuit against Pastor Chris Okafor, seeking N1 billion in damages for alleged breach of promise to marry her.
The lawsuit claims that Okafor made a clear promise to marry Ogala, introduced her to his family, and even allowed her to attend family events, but later married another woman, Pearl Okafor.
The lawsuit also claims that Okafor shared private photos of Ogala without her consent and that she had entrusted him with 45 million Naira, which he allegedly used without her permission.
