A Nigerian man has shared details of his last chat with Afrofuji singer, Destiny Boy amid condolences and tributes from fans and industry colleagues.
It’s worth noting that reports of Destiny Boy’s passing has left social media users stunned, with reports suggesting he passed away at a traditional herbalist’s house.
However, his management team is yet to break their silence on the swirling reports, while no official cause of his death has been announced.
Man releases last chat with Destiny Boy
The man identified with the Facebook handle, Bright Mj Adieza shared that Destiny Boy opened up about his health issues with him.
According to the Facebook user, he informed the singer’s father and shared screenshot of a chat with the singer.
In the chat that has gone viral online, Destiny Boy disclosed that he was extremely unwell, while offering an apology to the man.
”U told of ur health, I spoke with ur dad about it. Its unfortunate I am just hearing about ur death. I am so heart broken. I am sàd”, The post’s caption reads.
Meanwhile, Nigerian TikToker, Tobi Nation has addressed the swirling rumors of Destiny Boy’s passing.
In a TikTok livestream, he claimed Destiny Boy is alive and his death is a publicity stunt, similar to rapper Oladips fake death in 2023.
