Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has raised concerns over the overwhelming attention she receives from men on social media, revealing that thousands of marriage proposals have been sent to her private messages.
She took to her Instagram page to lament over the persistent unwanted attention she keeps getting.
According to the actress, her inboxes across different platforms have become chaotic, as she wakes up daily to an influx of messages from men expressing romantic interest.
Nkechi laments continued attention despite blocking admirers
She explained that despite efforts to block accounts and adjust her privacy settings, the messages keep coming nonstop.
Nkechi Blessing stressed that although she is currently single, she is not actively searching for a partner, yet her WhatsApp and social media accounts remain flooded with unsolicited messages. She described the situation as exhausting and emotionally draining.

“I have tried everything I can to change my number on Facebook but I don’t know. I don’t know which video is trending; I wake up to thousands of messages different kinds of men. I don block tire. I am single, but I no dey find man; I’m not searching.
My WhatsApp is a mess. I have other 5,000 messages from different kinds of species called men. I am tired. How many be my body wey over 5,000 men wan marry me…”
