Controversial singer Portable has publicly called out music executive Don Jazzy, questioning why artists who leave his label, Mavin Records, allegedly stop reigning in the music industry.
In a viral video, Portable urged Don Jazzy to “package” him and suggested a possible partnership, while referencing some top artists linked to the label.

“Don Jazzy, why is it that everyone who leaves your label don’t reign again? Come and package me and let’s partner.”
He went further to make bold claims about the careers of some artistes, including Rema and Tiwa Savage.
“Even Rema is no more reigning. Only Tiwa Savage is reigning,” he added.

This statement comes shortly after Crayon, who joined Mavin Records in 2019, posted a series of now-deleted social media messages accusing Don Jazzy of being responsible for his mother’s death.
Crayon also alleged that Don Jazzy owed him unpaid royalties and claimed that a large sum of money had been collected without him receiving his share.
He further claimed that delayed payments were being used against him and vowed to expose the label.
Portable’s comments have since sparked mixed reactions online, with fans debating the current relevance of artists and the role of record labels in sustaining long-term success.
