Popular activist and lawyer Barrister Deji Adeyanju has stirred controversy after subtly shading Ola of Lagos over the demolition of his car showroom in Lagos.
In a tweet post, Deji clarified that the demolished car stand was for his friend, but tensions arose after a tenant who rented a mini office there claimed ownership.
“The car stand that was demolished in Lagos was for my friend, Elvis of SKYWISE Autos, but one guy who rented a mini office there was claiming ownership,” he wrote.
He also took a jab at those who let social media pressure influence their judgment, indirectly targeting Ola.
“If you like believe online fake life on the gram and let them, put you under pressure,” he added.
The post has since attracted reactions online, with many supporting Deji’s defense of his friend and criticizing fake portrayals of wealth and ownership on social media.
This comes after it was reported that the Lagos State Government demolished Ola of Lagos car showroom, adding to the controversy.
Deji Adeyanju’s post highlights the dangers of believing everything online and defending friends against false claims, while also sparking discussions about property disputes and social media pressure.
