Davido’s friend, Denisi, also known as Ego222, has reportedly passed away, with details emerging online.
The news was shared by Joel Heugh Booysen via a series of Instagram posts, recalling memorable moments.

However, the circumstances surrounding Denisi’s passing weren’t disclosed, while Davido is yet to break his silence on the swirling rumors.

Cutie Juls Breaks Silence
Meanwhile, Cutie Juls, a prominent entertainment gossip blogger, has broken silence on Ego’s passing.
According to the blogger, Ego apparently passed away from cardiac arrest.
“Ego has reportedly passed away a few hours ago. May his soul rest in peace. He apparently died as a result of cardiac issues. He collapsed and was pronounced dead at the hospital”, The post reads.
It would be recalled that Davido lost his friend and close associate, Obama DMW, on June 29, 2021, due to suspected heart failure.
Notably, Obama DMW was not only a friend but also a music executive and founder of Obama Music Worldwide (OMW), an affiliate brand of Davido Music Worldwide.
He had been experiencing breathing difficulties and drove himself to Ever Care Hospital in Lekki, Lagos, where he was admitted and sadly passed away a few hours later .
