Taylor, who proposed to DJ Cuppy in December 2022 after less than a month of dating, revealed that certain unresolved issues led to growing distance between them.

Ryan on what caused their split

He disclosed that one of the challenges in their relationship was Cuppy’s alleged lack of enthusiasm toward collaborating with Nigerians in some of her professional dealings, a difference he said created tension between them.

Taylor also noted that there were no contracts or non-disclosure agreements binding them, emphasizing that he walked away from the relationship with only valuable lessons and personal growth.

“Is it weird that I told you she didn’t like Nigerians? She came into my business and didn’t even want Nigerian staff.”

“To be honest, what I got from that was lessons. Everything that happens, happens for a reason. But do I regret it? No. Lesson learned. Next!

“I learned that money is not everything, but not having it is.” Taylor said.

Cuppy and Ryan’s failed engagement

DJ Cuppy and Ryan Taylor’s engagement made headlines in December 2022, just weeks after they first crossed paths at the Gumball 3000 rally.

However, by mid-2023, observant fans noticed the pair had unfollowed each other on Instagram — a move that fueled speculation about a possible split.
