He passed away on December 21, 2025, after a car crash in Los Angeles.

Vince Zampella was born on June 1, 1970 and was a renowned American video game designer and executive. Born on October 1, 1970, Zampella co-founded Infinity Ward in 2002 with Jason West and Grant Collier.
Before founding Infinity Ward, Zampella worked at several companies, including Gametek, Atari Corporation, SegaSoft, Trainwreck Studios, and 2015, Inc.
Vince Zampella’s ex-wife is Brigitte, who filed for divorce in 2015, citing irreconcilable differences.
Additionally, Brigitte sought primary custody of their three children, who were minors at the time, and spousal support.
Vince Zampella attended the University of Michigan-Flint, where he graduated with a degree in English and Communications.
