Popular gospel singer Chinyere Udoma has opened up about her decades-long relationship with controversial cleric Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje.
In a recent statement, the singer revealed that their relationship dates back over 30 years, describing him as someone who supported and accepted her at a time when she was unknown.

She expressed displeasure at public criticism surrounding their association, urging people to refrain from judging what they may not fully understand, especially in spiritual matters.
Udoma also credited her growth and blessings to the cleric’s influence, emphasizing that their connection is rooted in a long history of friendship and spiritual alignment.

She said …
“When I was still a kid, nobody knew me, if you see me then you wouldn’t even like me. But he took me in like a father. Yes, I was nobody but he took me in. So when some people see me and Odumeje, they say Sister Chi you and Odumeje – Shut up! Who made you a judge? Who is the man that speaketh when the Lord has not spoken. Judge no man, because the Bible says the things of the spirit, they cannot understand it. God has blessed me through your ministry and I want the world to know that we have been friends for more than 30 years…”
