Mississippi news anchor, Celeste Wilson has tragically passed away at 42 , with condolences and tributes pouring in from fans and industry colleagues.
According to a report from US weekly, Celeste Wilson passed away from a heart attack and her death has been confirmed by 16 WAPT.
It’s worth noting that Celeste Wilson recently joined WAPT 16 as a weekend anchor.
She began her broadcasting career at a CBS affiliate in Monroe, Louisiana, after earning a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern State University and a master’s degree in journalism from Arizona State University.
She worked at several local news stations, including KNOE 8 News in Monroe, Louisiana, and KARK 4 News in Little Rock, Arkansas.
