Renowned American rapper, Cardi B currently on trial for allegedly assaulting a security guard, Emani Ellis in 2018, while pregnant.
The trial began on August 26, 2025, in Los Angeles, with both sides presenting their arguments.
During the trial, Ellis claimed Cardi B spit on her, body-shamed her, racially slurred her, and threatened to get her fired from her job.
“She was jumping up and down, body shaming me, racial slurs and a lot “, She stated.
This trial comes after Cardi B finalized her divorce from Offset on August 26, 2025.
The duo had a tumultuous relationship, with Cardi B previously filing for divorce in September 2020, only to reconcile later.
Meanwhile, Cardi B has moved on, announcing her relationship with Stefon Diggs, a professional American football player.
