Calls for Ned Nwoko to step down as senator commences amid marital dispute with Regina Daniels

Calls for billionaire politician, Ned Nwoko to step down from his senatorial post have made headlines, amid his marital dispute with Regina Daniels.

Notably, Ned Nwoko and Regina Daniels are embroiled in a highly publicized marital dispute, stemming from the actress accusing him of arresting her brother, Sammy.

Recall that Sammy was arrested on November 6, 2025, in Lagos, and is currently being detained in Abuja.

In a recent Instagram post, Realgina Onu, an actress, called for Ned Nwoko to step down from his senatorial post.

Details Of The Post

In her post, Realgina Onu called for Ned Nwoko to step down from his post to allow an independent investigation into allegations of sexual coercion, unlawful detention, and substance abuse.

Additionally, she called for intervention from the Nigerian Police Force, Ministry of Justice, and human rights organizations to investigate the allegations.

Meanwhile, an old video of Regina Daniels’ mother, Rita Daniels, revealing her age has surfaced online, contradicting claims that she married Ned Nwoko at 17.

In the video, Rita Daniels addressed criticism surrounding her daughter’s marriage, revealing she was nearly 20 when she married Ned Nwoko.

It would be recalled that Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko tied the knot traditionally on April 25, 2020 in Delta state.

Earlier, Regina Daniels brother, Sweezzy made a shocking claim regarding the circumstances surrounding the death of Ned Nwoko’s son.

According to him, Ned Nwoko’s son died from heart failure and seizure in the United Kingdom (UK), stemming from excessive drug intake.
