Tragedy has struck the movie industry with the passing of Israeli actor, Alon Aboutboul.
According to reports, he passed away on July 29, 2025, at the age of 60, after collapsing on HaBonim Beach in northern Israel.
Notably, he was known for his versatility and impressive performances in various films and TV shows.
Meanwhile, Aboutboul’s death has been met with condolences and tribute from fans and industry colleagues.
He is survived by his partner, Shir Bilya, and their four children.
His older brother, Avraham Abutbul, was also an actor. Aboutboul was known for his social and political involvement, supporting the Israeli Labor Party during the 2006 elections .
