Missing Barry Freeman Found Dead In The Coleraine Area

Know about ‘Missing Barry Freeman Found: The Police stated that they were growing more concerned about the Barry Freeman missing person investigation.

Barry, 44, was last seen on December 22 shortly after 7.40 p.m. in Coleraine’s Circular Road/Strand Road neighborhood. He was last seen wearing a blue coat, navy tracksuit trousers, a white pair of sneakers with a dark sole, a Christmas jumper, and a Santa bobble cap.

According to a PSNI spokeswoman who issued the missing person appeal on Thursday night, police are particularly interested in speaking with any of Barry’s friends or family members who may have spoken to him recently.

Police have confirmed that the death of a man who had been missing in Coleraine during the Christmas holiday is not being examined as suspicious following the finding of a body.

Barry Freeman was last seen in the Circular Road/Strand Road area of Derry at 7.40 p.m. on December 22.

The 44-year-old was last seen wearing a Santa bobble hat and a Christmas sweater. Police issued an appeal for information about his location and asked vehicles with dashcam footage in the Circular/Strand Road area to contact them.

Over the holidays, members of the Community Rescue Service (CRS) searched the region.

According to a PSNI representative, as of last night, officers had given up looking for Mr. Freeman “after the recovery of a body in the Coleraine area” yesterday.

“At this moment, the death is not being investigated as suspicious,” they added.

Mr. Freeman was employed at Coleraine right price Home Furnishings. In a message posted on social media following the passing, a company representative paid respect and expressed “great grief.”

“Barry has been an invaluable team member since 1999, and the entire crew will miss him. “He was not only a coworker but also a good friend,” the representative stated.

“On behalf of everyone at the right price, we wish Barry’s family and friends speedy recovery during this difficult time. We are grateful for the PSNI and CRS’s tireless efforts over the last week.”

In a statement released Friday, a spokeswoman for Help Brings our Barry Home described the organization as “devastated.” Friends and family of Mr. Freeman set up a Facebook page to discuss the search for him.

In the coming trying times, they begged readers to keep Barry’s friends and family in their prayers.
