Ohio resident Jose Gutierrez And Daniela Marquez Missing In Mexico: In an effort to locate an Ohio architect, his fiancée, and two of her family members who vanished on Christmas Day, the US State Department is collaborating with Mexican authorities.
On December 22, Jose Guttierez departed from Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport for Zacatecas to see Daniela Marquez, as his family claims he usually does, according to WXIX.
But since December 25, neither he nor Marquez have been seen, and their Ohio relatives worry that they may have been kidnapped.
Rosa Pichardo, Marquez’s mother, told TV Azteca that Marquez’s sister Viviana and their cousin Irma Vargas had gone out to dinner on Sunday but had not returned by 10 o’clock as planned. According to TV Azteca, their SUV was discovered abandoned in a town 20 miles north of Colotlan, where they lived.
According to Pichardo, who spoke to The New York Post, “there were those who realized they were kidnapping them, there was a lot of panic, shouts, but they didn’t get them out and they stole the vehicle.” “They took the women and Daniela, the fiancé of my daughter. They left and traveled to Vivoras.
Jose’s sister, Brandie Guttierez, claimed to have spoken with him before they went out to dine and read about problems in the neighborhood newspaper.
Zacatecas is one of the Mexican states that the US recommends “do not travel to” because to the region’s crime and kidnapping problems.
“In Zacatecas state, extortion, violent crime, and gang activity are all too common. Kidnappings have affected US nationals and LPRs (lawful permanent residents), according to the State Department’s warning.
