Following cosmetic surgery in the Dominican Republic, a beloved Chicago mother of four Sucretta Tolliver Dies After Plastic Surgery earlier this month. Her family is calling for an investigation.
According to her daughter Mariah Price, Sucretta Tolliver arrived at the island nation on December 12 and passed away there two days later.
As her daughter, Price felt that her family had been robbed. “Life is precious, and you don’t know that until you’re robbed of it,” Price said.
Tolliver, a former nurse who made a career change, ran a prosperous shop in Chicago’s Brighton Park.
When his sister’s body is brought back to the United States, William Tolliver, the deceased’s brother, stated the family plans to have a fresh death report prepared.
He remarked, “Her formal death certificate does mention internal bleeding. They completed their report in the Dominican, but after she returns home, we’ll complete our own paperwork and work things out.
Her death, as well as the physician who carried out the treatment, is being investigated by the family and the federal government.
William Tolliver declared, “I’m going to be standing strong on justice for my sister.
