The younger youngster was named as Jeremiah Brown by family members on Tuesday, according to WESH.

The area is a nearly 3,000-acre tract of property that was formerly owned by the General Development Corporation and planned for housing development, but it was sold after GDC declared bankruptcy in 1991. It is now a popular destination for off-road vehicles and has only a few roadways. “Certainly frightening,” said a dirt bike rider who declined to be recognized to WESH.

Resident Report

Resident Roger Holloway told the newspaper that he was at the residence on Christmas Day but saw nothing out of the ordinary.

“Just a regular pair of dirt bikes out for a run. I went outside to hunt for model airplane enthusiasts, but I don’t suppose many were outside that day. However, you can constantly hear the men outside firing their weapons. “They do it even though they’re not supposed to,” stated Holloway.

Palm Bay Police Lt. Michael Roberts told Florida Today that “all available resources” were being devoted to identifying the causes and offender(s) of this incident.
