53-year-old Marylue Wigglesworth Shoot Husband Who Is A NJ Political Figure on Christmas Eve

A New Jersey woman 53-year-old Marylue Wigglesworth Shoot Husband and is in jail after police say she murdered her husband on Christmas Eve inside their Mays Landing home.

According to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, Marylue Wigglesworth, 53, was arrested and charged with murder. David Wigglesworth, 57, was identified as the victim.

Police were called to a home along Mays Landing Somers Point Road at about 10:19 p.m. on Christmas Eve to report an injured male. When police arrived, they discovered the victim with a gunshot wound. He was declared dead at the site.

Marylue Wigglesworth was arrested at the scene. It’s unclear what transpired before the shooting or what led them to arrest the suspect.

New Jersey’s 101.5 reports that David Wigglesworth unsuccessfully ran for the Republican Township Committee race. He was also involved as a volunteer at The Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City.
