Jovit experienced respiratory problems on December 3, 2022, and was taken by ambulance to Jesus of Nazareth Hospital in Batangas City.

He ran into the issue after a song was played at a Christmas party. He lapsed into a coma and never came to after having a minor hemorrhagic stroke.

The well-known Filipino singer and actor is most recognized for taking home the title in the first season of Pilipinas Got Talent in 2010.

Following his victory, Baldivino put out four studio albums and several successful singles, such as Pusong Bato and Ikay’ Mahal Pa Rin.

In addition, he appeared in a number of television programs, including ASAP, 1DOL, Growing Up, Juan Dela Cruz, and We Love OPM.

On November 28, Baldivino made his final appearance on television for a celebrity-themed Family Feud episode.

The original winner of Pilipinas Got Talent, Jovit Baldivino, is no longer alive. He passed away on December 9, 2022 (a Friday), according to his former Star Magic handler.

Jerry Telan claimed that according to information from Jovit’s parents and fiancé, Baldivino died at 4 am after spending the previous five days in a “comatose” state.

He claimed that physicians had urged Jovit not to sing while he was recuperating for a week with medications to manage his high blood pressure. He had high blood pressure, which was an issue.

Telan added that “Bundoy” had been invited by a family friend from Batangas City (Jovit). He gave in to the demands of the audience and sang three of his favorite songs, including Journeys Faithfully.

Jovit was transported to the hospital the same night as he struggled for breath during his third song. The CT scan, according to the artist’s agency, “showed a blood clot in the brain (an indication of aneurysm).”

According to ABS-CBN News, aneurysms, a kind of cerebrovascular illness, are one of the leading causes of mortality in the Philippines, accounting for 32,354 fatalities between January and July 2022.

The website also warns that untreated aneurysms can burst or rupture, causing internal hemorrhage. Chest pain, severe headache, and unconsciousness are typical symptoms.

Aneurysms typically have unclear causes, though they may be inherited or brought on by certain lifestyle choices.

Baldivino, who was born on October 16, 1993, died at the age of 29.

In Rosario, Batangas, the Philippines, Jovit Lasin Baldivino was born to Hilario and Cristeta Baldivino.

Jovit used to sell siomai, a sort of dumpling, after school because she came from a low-income home. He did it to support his academic endeavors and make life better for his family.

Jovit entered the first season of Pilipinas Got Talent in the hopes of winning the 2 million peso grand prize to finish his education and pull his family out of poverty. He thought that if he won the competition, his wish would come true.

The gifted musician attended Batangas State University to earn a degree in criminology since he aspired to be a lawyer like his godfather.
