With great grief, the Ministry of Defense has announced the demise of Royal Logistic Corps Private Joshua Kennington. He passed away on November 24, 2022, at Catterick following a non-operational event.

Private Kennington was a brave individual who was constantly prepared to assist. He was the ultimate representative of their most talented younger generation and a proud RLC Driver.

Josh was empathetic, caring, and always eager to put the needs of others above his own. He tragically passed away far too young, leaving his devastated family and friends without him. Josh was adored by both his family and friends.

They went on to explain that they would never forget him, no matter where he was, and that he died doing what he loved. His family’s identity has not yet been made public.

At the age of 18, Joshua, a young soldier, lost his life at an army post as a result of a “non-operational incident.”

Private Kennington passed away at Catterick Garrison, the largest British Army garrison in the world, near Richmond, North Yorkshire, as a result of a “non-operational incident.”

Major Tony Morgan, the commanding officer of 35 Squadron, 5 Medical Regiment, describes Private Kennington as a courageous and excellent soldier. He also claimed that Private Josh Kennington of the 35 Medical Squadron was a young and well-liked soldier.

At such a young age, just starting his promising military career, his passing is a devastating loss.

Josh Kennington, a Royal Logistic Corps private, passed away, and Dr. Andrew Murrison, the minister for veterans, servicemen, and their families, expressed his sorrow at the news. He went on to say that Joshua had a natural knack for soldiering and that everyone he worked with, regardless of level, admired and appreciated him.

Despite only just joining the 35 Medical Squadron, Private Kennington had already established a lot of friends and had a big impression on those around him.

Major Tony Morgan, Officer Commanding 35 Squadron, 5 Medical Regiment, characterized Private Josh Kennington, a youthful and popular member of the Squadron who had just recently joined the Squadron, as being an instant hit.

Also, Kennington was praised by Lieutenant Colonel Catherine Masling, Commanding Officer of the 5 Medical Regiment, as a sincere, kind-hearted, and decent individual who reinforced the team. The regiment “grieved terribly” his unexpected death.

Pte Kennington was lauded by Lt Col Catherine Masling, the commanding officer of the 5 Medical Regiment, as a brilliant soldier with maturity beyond his years and a bright future.

He was a true professional, she added, ready to benefit from everything the Army had to offer and driven to succeed in any endeavor.

Pte. Kennington’s death is still under investigation, according to a Ministry of Defense spokesman.
