A Nigerian landlord has gone viral on social media after claiming his tenant punched him in the face for serving a notice of a rent increase.

According to the property owner, his latest decision to increase the annual rent to N350,000 infuriated the tenant, leading to a physical confrontation where he was struck directly in the eye.
