A Nigerian woman living in Canada has slammed Nigerian men while sharing inbox messages some have sent to her sister.
Chisara Agoha shared chats from two different men who took issues with her and her UK-based sister being comfortable being single women.
One of the men told her sister that she would one day need a man. He then advised her to humble herself.
The other man said hello and introduced himself, but when he got no response, he tried to demean her sister for ignoring his messages to her.
Sharing their messages, Chisara wrote: ‘I have never seen a group of men as easily triggered as Nigerian men.
‘Most Nigerian men have built their self-worth around women needing them, even when they offer less than the bare minimum.
‘So, once a woman says they do not want marriage or a man, they are so triggered.
‘My younger sister said something like, “Not succeeding without a man,” on TikTok. Men went on a rampage in her comment section. Some came to her private messages.
‘One who has been saying hello and introducing himself, but my sister didn’t respond, sent the message in the screenshot.’
