A Nigerian Bolt and inDrive driver has gone viral after sharing a prayer he says before starting work, asking God for safety, good earnings and the ability to provide for his wife and children.
In the video, the driver prayed for a safe and successful day, with enough money to pay his children’s school fees and take care of his family.
He also prayed for higher fares, mentioning the amounts he wanted drivers to charge for trips between different locations in Lagos, including Sango-Tedo, Lekki, the airport and Ikeja.
The driver complained about rising fuel costs, asking God not to let drivers bear the burden alone. He also prayed for Nigerians to protest and reclaim the country from its leaders.
He then turned his prayers to customers who cancel rides after requesting them, asking God to punish them and jokingly calling for thunder to strike those who cancel trips worth ₦1,400.
