Chowdeck CEO Femi Aluko has revealed that the company’s delivery riders earn an average of N100,000 per week, with top-performing riders reportedly making significantly more.
Aluko made the disclosure during an interview with Channels while explaining the earning potential of riders on the food delivery platform.
According to him, the amount a rider earns is largely influenced by the number of deliveries completed and the distance covered, as riders are also paid based on kilometres travelled.
The interviewer expressed surprise at the figure, noting that an average weekly income of N100,000 would amount to about N400,000 monthly for riders using bicycles.
Aluko confirmed the calculation but noted that the job also comes with expenses, including the cost of maintaining the bicycles.
