Founder and Senior Pastor of Salvation Ministries, David Ibiyeomie, has recounted the heartbreaking account of a professor who passed away after being duped.
During a recent sermon, the clergyman condemned cybercrime, widely known as ‘Yahoo Yahoo’.
David Ibiyeomie’s View On Cyber Crime
According to the clergyman, a professor he was acquainted with passed away after being duped of all the money in his bank account.
Although, the professor’s identity in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Rivers State University was not disclosed.
However, he clutched his burglar alarm and collapsed after being duped, which led to his death.
Issuing a warning to the congregation during his sermon, he stated, “In this church if you are a yahoo, go to another church and give offering.I don’t care about how much you have”.
Jesus hates poor people sermon in 2025
In 2025, David Ibiyeomie stated that Jesus never visited any poor person’s house and therefore hates poverty, and that believers should not associate closely with the poor.
“Jesus never visited any poor person in his house, that means He hates poverty“, He said.
However, clergymen, including Abel Damina and CAN, criticized him over his sermon.
Eventually, he reaffirmed his stance, emphasizing that the Holy Spirit told him in the bathroom that he was right.
