Reality TV star Phyna has called out content creator Ashmusy over an alleged disagreement surrounding an upcoming boxing match, accusing her of trying to have her removed from the fight.
In a video shared online, Phyna explained that organisers initially approached her to fight a Ghanaian woman. However, she later withdrew after revealing that she had a wedding on the scheduled fight date.
According to Phyna, she spent months helping the organisers find a replacement before suggesting Ashmusy for the fight. She claimed Ashmusy agreed to participate and accepted the proposed payment before being connected with the organisers.
“I now suggested to the organiser, what about Ashmusy? Immediately I called Ashmusy, we spoke and she said she was down, ready and active. We spoke about the money. She said she agreed, no problem. She now said I should connect her and the organisers,” she said.
Phyna alleged that Ashmusy later increased her requested payment, which the organisers reportedly accepted, but delays followed after a contract was sent to her.
She claimed that when she contacted the organisers about the delay, she was told to speak with Ashmusy. Phyna alleged that Ashmusy had also asked the organisers to remove her from the fight, claiming she had a better person to replace her.
“Do you know that since day before yesterday, Ashmusy is telling the organisers to drop me, and she has a better person to replace me. Me wey don dey talk to these people for seven months. I was the one who brought you in last week,” she added.
Phyna questioned the alleged decision, stressing that she had spent months helping with the fight before introducing Ashmusy as her potential opponent.
The allegations have drawn attention online as fans await further developments.
