Nigerian content creator, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has reacted to a Babalawo’s viral claim that he helped him achieve fame through “juju”.
The Babalawo had earlier alleged that Peller visited his shrine, cried and begged for help before becoming famous, but later forgot him and failed to fulfil his obligations.
Peller has now dismissed the claim, describing the man’s actions as content that has gone too far.
‘The Man Should Keep Running’
In a video, Peller warned that the man could face legal consequences over the claims and alleged that he had started using the viral attention to scam people.
“The man claiming he did juju for me to be blow/famous should keep running. Police will still catch you.”
Peller said the man initially made the claim as content but changed his approach after noticing that people were beginning to believe the story.
He also claimed that the man’s TikTok following grew significantly after the controversy.
“The page had 4,000 followers on TikTok, now it has 65,000 followers. He has changed his page to look like a real juju man page.”
‘He’s Now Scamming People’
Peller further alleged that the man had started collecting money from people who believed his claims.
“He’s now scamming people. He’s collecting people’s money. That man will rot in jail.”
The content creator also said he would not be willing to drop any potential case against the man, even if his family members pleaded with him.
“His family will beg for mercy and say, ‘Help us beg Peller to drop the case.’ I won’t listen.”
‘People Are Falling Victim’
Peller expressed concern that some social media users appeared to believe the Babalawo’s claims and were even seeking his services.
He cited comments from users who debated whether the Babalawo had actually helped him become famous.
“See what people are talking. Una never still wise for 2026?”
Peller maintained that the claims were false and warned people against believing the man or falling victim to what he described as an alleged scam.
