R&B singer Nivea has revealed that she was diagnosed with leukemia earlier this year.
Speaking during a recent interview, the mother of four said she has been undergoing treatment and is responding well. She expressed gratitude to God and said the diagnosis has given her a new perspective on life.
“I’m very grateful for life. You don’t know the time nor the hour, and it has helped me put a lot of things in perspective,” she said.
Despite the health challenge, Nivea disclosed that she is focusing on her music, working on a new project, and studying audio engineering. She added that she is choosing to live with gratitude while cherishing every moment with her children.
