A Twitter user has sparked reactions online after sharing a story about infidelity and the expectations placed on wives.
The user, Urenna, claimed that a man impregnated another woman outside his marriage, and after the child was born, returned to ask his wife to take care of both the woman and the baby because the woman allegedly had no one to help her.
Reacting to the situation, she wrote:
“It’s painful enough that he cheated. Why should the wife be the one expected to take care of the situation? What happened to his own hands, or hiring someone to help?”
Her post quickly drew reactions, with many social media users agreeing that the responsibility should fall on the man rather than his wife.
