Afrobeat singer Tiwa Savage has reacted to the abduction of school children and teachers in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
The music star expressed shock over the incident, revealing that she only recently came across reports online through posts shared by singer Spyro and media personality KieKie.

“I just started seeing the kidnapping that happened in Oyo just yesterday. It was Spyro’s post that came up,” she said.
She further explained that she began reaching out to people to understand the full story because the incident was not appearing enough on her timeline or gaining the level of attention she expected on social media.
The mother of one disclosed that she later saw a post claiming the incident had already happened almost two weeks ago, leaving her even more disturbed about the situation.
“It’s not trending enough. It’s not trending as much as it should. Then I saw KieKie’s post saying the incident has taken place for almost two weeks,” she added.
Her reaction comes following reports of bandits attacking a school in Oriire community, Oyo State, where principal, students and teachers were abducted, while the one of the teachers was reportedly beheaded, with dozens of children still in captivity.
The kidnapping incident in Ogbomoso continues to generate concern as many Nigerians and public figures continue to call for urgent action to secure the release of the victims.
