In a recent Instagram post, the actress accused the Nigerian Police Force of taking the lives of individuals who fought for the #EndSARS protest in 2020, describing it as an unacceptable act.
She also questioned why the 28-year-old was not prosecuted in court and why the officer took the law into his hand.
Seeking clarity, the movie star inquired why the police officers in the viral video weren’t deployed to confront bandits instead.
Delta Police Command Breaks Silence
Meanwhile, the Delta State Police Command has broken silence on the incident.
According to the operatives acted on intelligence and apprehended Ogidi while he was allegedly attempting to waybill a parcel containing a Beretta pistol and four rounds of ammunition.
In a recent development, ASP Nuhu Usman, who led the operation, has been arrested, queried, and transferred to Force Headquarters, Abuja, for disciplinary action and prosecution.
