A business owner has sparked reactions after opening up about the realities of adulthood and the current economic strain.
Starting from a reflective angle, she said young people need to appreciate their parents more, noting that adulthood is far from easy, especially in today’s economy.
She revealed that she has gone as long as two weeks without making any sales, despite investing in her business and consistently promoting her products online.
According to her, expenses like rent, electricity, and daily living costs continue to rise, while income remains unstable. She added that she now relies on her savings to cover both personal and business expenses.
She also pointed out that months into the year, she cannot confidently say she has saved up to ₦1 million, describing the situation as frustrating.
