Students of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ibogun Campus in Ifo LGA, Ogun State, were thrown into fear after a reported armed robbery attack in the early hours of the day.
According to posts shared on X, a gang of about 12 armed men stormed multiple student hostels around midnight, stealing phones, gadgets, and reportedly carting away a student’s vehicle.
Witness accounts also claimed the attackers were heavily armed and fired gunshots as they moved across hostels, leaving students in panic.
Some students were said to have sustained injuries during the attack, with reports of victims left bleeding.
