Nigerian music star Burna Boy has addressed the recent incident involving DJ Tunez, offering his version of events, while throwing shades at Wizkid.
Speaking during an Instagram Live session, Burna Boy dismissed claims that multiple members of his team assaulted the DJ, insisting that he was the only one involved and that the encounter was limited to a couple of slaps.

He also expressed disappointment that Wizkid did not reach out privately to resolve the situation, as he had expected.
The Grammy-winning artist went on to mock Wizkid, suggesting that instead of addressing the issue directly, he resorted to social media.

He further claimed he initially thought a more confrontational response would follow, but instead described his rival’s influence as being largely confined online.
His words …
“No be 10 people touch DJ Tunez, na only me and na only two slaps I give am. I swear with my mama, if I dey lie, make Ogun carry my mama go anywhere wey Wizkid’s mama dey. He comes go dey tweet, I think say he go send squad, na internet their own power dey. We na real life our own power dey.
I tell people make them no touch am. Na only me touch am. If say 10 people touch am, na so him go dey? I even think say him go call their oga, their oga wey go do something. But na tweet him oga come dey tweet. So what was the point, that means I don waste my time….”

The controversy follows earlier reports that Burna Boy and members of his crew were allegedly involved in a clash with DJ Tunez at a nightclub. Eyewitness accounts circulating online suggested that the disagreement escalated into a physical altercation, with claims that multiple individuals confronted the DJ.
In response, DJ Tunez reportedly criticized Burna Boy, describing his actions as a sign of weakness and alleging that he stood his ground during the incident despite being outnumbered.
Burna Boy later appeared to respond with subtle jabs, sharing a video of himself in a relaxed setting while vibing to a track by DJ Tunez, further fueling reactions and conversations among fans online.
