Netizens react to viral video of man f!ghting with a lady who took over ‘his seat’ inside a cinema in Aba

A video showing a man f!ghting with a lady after she took over his seat inside a cinema hall in Aba, Abia state, has sparked a debate online.

A group of young content creators had gathered inside the hall for a conference. It appears the young man was seated but stepped out to do something. However, upon his return, he found the young lady there. 

All attempts to get her to leave his seat proved abortive. He stated that he kept his food pack on the seat before going out and that the food pack was thrown on the floor by the young lady. All the while he raised his voice in protest, the lady and the audience mocked him, calling him out for fighting over a seat with a lady. In frustration, he got angry and ripped the young lady’s top. It was at this point that the audience protested and called for him to be thrown out of the cinema hall.

The video has elicited reactions online. While some have condemned the man’s action of fighting a woman, many stated that he was triggered by the lady and the audience who laughed off his efforts to get back ‘his’ seat.
